We've been busy lately, with neighbors to meet, milestones to celebrate, new things to learn, places to explore, friends to play with, books to read; days that are fill with the goodness and the bounty of life. I am looking ahead to the next weeks and months, filled with love and family and friends, travel and giving. I am making lists and hunting for patterns and reading recipes and cleaning closets - preparations for the preparation.
Craig brought the kids home from the park in the dark last night - pink cheeked and hungry. We had BLTs and brussle sprouts. That's how we spell compromise in our house - vegetables with a side of bacon.
