Despite the heat wave we're currently having, we can all feel fall coming. Our shadows are lengthening. Darkness arrives earlier. Audrey, always wanting to be prepared, has started wearing socks. I'm not sure if you can tell from what I post here, but we had a pretty busy summer. We were out of routine a lot and it all caught up with us by the end. September 1st was a welcome change.
The kids are sleeping and napping again. The house is (relatively) clean. I'm organizing drawers and closets. Our fall activities are starting. Routine is nice.
We went to the Botanic Garden last week. Those four are like peas in a pod. It gives us moms a break to have them entertain each other. Here we are at the garden 6 months ago.
